How to update DirectX in Windows

  • Then, we type dxdiag and press the Enter key (or click OK ).

  • To get started, we open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I.

  • We download and install the available Windows updates. This will also update your version of DirectX if a newer version is available.
  • Once the update is complete, we will already be running the latest version of DirectX on the computer if it has been updated.
