Phil Spencer confirms that The Elder Scrolls VI will be Xbox exclusive

Since the purchase of Bethesda (and therefore, all its studios and own IPs) by Microsoft, a thousand and one discussions were opened on social networks due to the exclusivity of the games that would arrive in the future and were developed by some study of Bethesda (such as Bethesda Game Studios, Machine Games or Tango Gameworks, for example).

To calm the waters, representatives of the two companies had to come out to make it clear that “each case would be studied when the time came”, leaving the door open to whether or not titles like Starfield would be exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem. At E3 this year, we learned that Starfield would be completely exclusive to Xbox and PC, and today Phil Spencer confirms that The Elder Scrolls VI will be exclusive to Xbox.

It has been in an interview with the British GQ medium where Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, affirms that the next installment of the mythical Bethesda RPG saga will be a case very similar to the one already seen with Starfield. Spencer’s strategy is that the Xbox ecosystem can offer high-quality exclusives , and we all know that The Elder Scrolls VI will be a title on the same level as its predecessor.
