It’s back to school (somehow) and it looks like months of teleworking are still waiting for us as far as possible, so it is a good time for the presentation of devices for entertainment and work at home and many manufacturers do so. you know. The alternative that Huawei presents for this context is its Huawei MatePad T 10s, a tablet that represents the evolution of the Huawei MediaPad T5. It is a mid-range device with a 10.1-inch screen and minimalist design. The intention is that it fits well in various usage profiles and that it is for all audiences, so let’s see what characteristics it presents.

FullHD resolution on 10.1 inch IPS screen
The Huawei MatePad T 10s is built in metal and presents a minimalist and quite modern design. Its 10.1-inch screen and 16:10 ratio is integrated into a front with frames that are not entirely thin, with a density of 224 pixels per inch.
It is an IPS screen with FullHD resolution (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) that covers 70% of the NTSC color gamut. The sides of the back are curved, thus looking for ergonomics and a comfortable grip, and it presents reinforced edges to have additional protection considering that it can be a device used by children.
Stereo sound and software to take advantage of the screen
The MatePad T 10s has the Kirin 710A processor , with versions of 2 GB + 32 GB and 3 GB RAM + 64 GB of storage. It has an expansion slot for microSD, being able to expand up to 512 GB.
In addition, it features two speakers tuned by Harman Kardon , something that we had not yet seen on a Huawei T-series model. They are located on the sides and their internal components have been redesigned to find a sufficient volume without falling into distortion, counting on the support of Huawei Histen 6.1 to give a surround sound.
The software is based on Android, without having Google services but with EMUI 10.1 , Huawei’s own personalization and services layer. In addition to its own app store, the App Multiplier system is included to take advantage of the split screen.
Price and availability of the Huawei MatePad T 10s
The new Huawei tablet has been presented today and we know that it will arrive in market by the manufacturer’s confirmation, but we still do not know the details of the price and availability. We will update this information as soon as the brand provides it, for now we know that there will be only one color available: Deepsea Blue.
