The Google Drive app is updating with a new dynamic for scanning documents from your Android mobile.
A series of small changes that will make your task easier with a much simpler dynamic. We tell you the details of this update.
How to scan documents with Google Drive from your mobile
One of the latest updates to the Drive app on Android brought a more practical way to scan documents, since a separate button is included for this task. That is, it is no longer necessary to click on “+” and then select “Scan”, since we can do it directly from the new camera icon.
But it is not the only update that has received to improve the scanning of documents from the mobile. Drive also includes “auto capture” mode, which takes a photo of the image when it detects the document.
So, if you don’t want to use the manual way, you can switch to the automatic mode from the bottom menu. A dynamic that will be practical when you want to scan, for example, a brochure or some pages of a book.
Features to scan documents and convert them to PDF
On the other hand, although all the options we know for editing the image are maintained, the way they are presented in the interior menu is changed. Even so, you will still have the tools to crop, rotate and filters (auto, color and grayscale).
And once you finish scanning all the sheets and editing them, you can save them as a PDF file to your Google Drive account. While it may seem like a minor change, it makes it much faster to scan documents from Android and convert them to PDF from Drive.
And this is not the only news we have learned about Drive. A few days ago, the Google team announced important changes that make the Google Drive app for tablets much easier to use.
