Samsung joins the growing trend of expanding the RAM memory of smartphones, and with its most recent update it allows to extend the RAM of the Galaxy A52s , one of its most recent smartphones, by 4 GB.
SamMobile reports that the Galaxy A52s has received in India the update to the firmware A528BXXU1AUH9 , which has among its novelties the RAM Plus function . This feature takes storage memory and converts it to virtual RAM, allowing for an extra 4GB random access memory extension, going from 6 to 10GB of RAM on the Galaxy A52s.
The site reports that the update with the new RAM Plus feature is only available in India , at least for now, but may soon be rolled out to other territories. Also, now that the feature has made its first official appearance on the Galaxy A52s, it is likely to make its way to other Samsung smartphones.
Speaking of the Galaxy A52s, it is an enhanced version of the Galaxy A52 from a few months ago , presented a few weeks ago in countries such as India and Spain, with the Snapdragon 778G chipset as the main novelty.
Just as a reminder, we have already explained previously that RAM memory expansion in smartphones is achieved with the widely known memory allocation in computer equipment. It is a trend that has grown little by little and that different manufacturers have adopted, such as vivo that has already integrated it into its vivo X60 series and the vivo V21 available in Mexico , and others such as Xiaomi that are developing the feature for future smartphones.
