According toreports, Nvidia announced in October last year that it would build the country’s most powerful supercomputer in Cambridge, England. The company originally planned to invest 40 million pounds (55.692 billion U.S. dollars)in the project, but now the company‘sinvestmentis twice the original plan (about 100 million U.S. dollars).
This Nvidia supercomputer has been provided to third-party researchers in the UK healthcare industry and will support research by AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, King’s College London, Oxford Nanopore,NHS Guy and St Thomas Foundation.
