“How strange. Well, back to work …” have been the words of Elon Musk after becoming the richest person in this world. The mogul behind Tesla and SpaceX has managed to surpass Amazon’s Jeff Bezos as the most financially powerful person in the world. And it has done so in record time thanks to the strong rise of Tesla in the stock market.
With a capital of around 185 billion dollars, it has exceeded the 184 billion dollars that Jeff Bezos has approximately. He previously managed to surpass Bill Gates in November 2020 to become the second richest person in the world. The 185 billion dollars are complex to visualize and even visualized with grains of rice the sum is still immense.
The rivalry between Musk and Bezos comes from further afield however. For years they’ve had their squabbles about tech ideas, space races, and more. In his day he called Amazon a monopoly. Although one has a gigantic online store and the other sells electric cars, there is a point where they compete directly: space. While Elon Musk is behind SpaceX, Jeff Bezos has the Blue Origin company that also seeks to reuse rockets, transport items and people into space and to generate exploration of what is outside the Earth. At the moment that much is taken by SpaceX.
The “richest person in the world” goal is also on Elon Musk’s side and is not due to anything other than Tesla’s huge rise in the stock market in recent months. The company is having spectacular success and for some time has been the most valued vehicle company on the market , electric or non-electric.
Its co-founder Elon Musk owns the majority of the shares in the company , which has seen its capital rise as well. Likewise, it has obtained different incentive packages in recent months for achieving Tesla’s objectives. Gone are the times when it was proposed to acquire the entire company to take it off the stock market .
Elon Musk: What to do being the richest person in the world
Keep working seems to be Elon Musk’s idea. Other holders of this title in the based have decided to dedicate themselves to philanthropy, as is the case of Bill Gates. The founder of Microsoft through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is investing much of his wealth back in the most altruistic and effective projects possible to eradicate disease, poverty and other global problems.
In the case of Elon Musk at the moment it is not very clear what he will do. We can see what he has done so far, which is to finance out of his own pocket companies and projects that he believes will be successful in the future. It has in fact done it from the beginning with Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, The Boring Company and many other projects that have been financed and have served to finance futures.
