Microsoft Edge now available for iOS and Android

Today Microsoft announced that Collections is now available on the mobile version of its Edge browser for both iOS and Android.

Collections in Edge was first implemented in its desktop version. This function allows the user to collect and organize content found on the web.

The mobile launch will allow Edge users to include more content in the Collections and of course the creation of new ones from the smartphone.

According to Microsoft , the Collections were designed on the mobile specifically so that users can easily navigate between the different web pages and compare items from the user’s collections.

A collapsible Collections “box” allows you to view web pages alongside established collections and all of this is to facilitate multitasking. When the box is expanded, you can see more content from the collection.

To start with Collections on mobile, they must have the latest version of Microsoft Edge that you can download from Google Play (Android— version 45.06.2.5042) or Apple App (iOS— version 45.6.2 or greater).
